Bird Cam 2025

Bird Cam 2025 is up and running in the bird box at the side of the school hall and during assembly all of the children were shown that a blue tit has been working to build a nest. 

We have now seen the six eggs and a parent working hard to keep the eggs warm.  Today during Wildlife Club, Year 5 looked more closely at the nest and we feel that hatching is imminent.  We will have our video recorder at the  ready in case the birds hatch over the long weekend.

May Update

As predicted, Bird Cam 2025 showed that the six blue tit eggs hatched over the long weekend.  All are currently doing well and the mother bird is busily feeding six hungry mouths.
