Eco Warriors

Our Eco Warriors have been busy over the last few weeks filling the raised beds which we were kindly donated by the PTFA.  This week they have planted herbs, lavender, bacopa, helibore and aquilegia.

The children were very excited to be able to start this and are looking forward to planting the remaining raised beds on the playground.

A big thank you to Mr Lamprell for making the raised beds, Lynda Dent and Mrs Durham who kindly donated money so we could purchase compost and also a big thank you to the Parish Magazine who donated £200 which is being spent on the plants and equipment for the children to use.

We are looking forward to seeing the plants grow.  Well done Eco Warriors and particularly to Mrs Durham who leads the group and has co-ordinated this project.
