Outdoor Spiritual Spaces
After the success of our ‘Spiritual Spaces’ experience last year and based on feedback from the children, today the whole school was able to take part in an outdoor version of the event.
This was a special event designed to nurture children’s spiritual development in a creative, reflective and engaging way. It took place outside, using our grounds for children to encounter a series of thoughtful spaces and activities allowing them to explore big questions, reflect, and connect with God, themselves, others and the wider world.

It was lovely to see the children having time to use bubbles to ‘blow their worries away’, lie on the floor to be still and wonder, to take time to notice our surroundings using all their senses, plant seeds, research flags and reflect on the needs of other countries taking part in the World Cup and to write wishes and prayers for the world.
Thank you to teachers for preparing the ideas and to Florence, Annie, Patrick, Kayden, Harley, Tiaan, Georgia, Jessica, Florence and Thea for helping other children to engage with each of the reflective spaces.
