Summer Chess Tournament

Congratulations to Austin who, after many rounds and facing multiple opponents, was the winner of our Summer Chess Tournament.  It was wonderful to see so many children taking part, many of whom have learnt the game over the course of the year in Chess Club.  Our thanks go to Aryan and Alexander, in Year 6, who organised and ran the event over the course of the term.  The boys have left a lasting legacy through this initiative and have both provided medals and trophies for the winners.
