Willow Class - Seaside Workshop

On Tuesday the school hall was converted into a Victorian seaside. Willow Class enjoyed visiting the seaside to learn more about how seaside holidays then differed to the seaside holidays the children may have been on themselves. The morning was filled with exploration of Victorian artefacts, alongside the children creating some wonderful souvenirs such as shell boxes to take home.

In the afternoon, the children took turns to take an imaginary train ride to a pier from the past or to work on the stalls. And of course, no seaside holiday is complete without a Punch and Judy show which was the highlight of the children's day.
