Y3 - HfL Maths Challenge

Last week, Jessica, Georgia, Noah & Casper completed the HfL Year 3 maths challenge. 

Jessica wrote: “There were 3 rounds of questions and we had to get as many right as possible.  There were estimation questions, shape problems and multiplication and division puzzles.  Some of them were really hard but we pulled through! We had to work together as a team and listen carefully to one another.  We also got bourbons, jammie dodgers and apple juice to give us lots of energy.”

The hard work and the biscuit-fuelled energy obviously worked  -  we learnt today that the team scored 148 out of 165 with the average score being 131.  This means that for the first time ever, we will have a team in the grand final!  Fantastic work Year 3.
