Year 3 - Village Walk

On Monday 23rd June Class 3 went on a circular walk around the village as part of our Geography topic about the local area. We identified key features such as the church, the village shop, post boxes and telephone boxes, as well as the road names along our route. Next lesson we will use this information to help us become cartographers! We will create a detailed map of the route that we walked and include all the key features, paths and roads that we passed. Thank you to Mrs Durham for her expert knowledge of the village - she made a wonderful guide!
